Reflections on Teaching
The best thing I get from teaching is seeing how everyone interprets my creative process.
I've been running mixed media collage workshops where I teach my art process, and it’s been so inspiring for me!
I thought that teaching a step-by-step process would lead to people creating quite similar artworks in the 2-hour session, but everyone puts their own spin on it. I love the unexpected questions, the new ideas and the little obsessive details that students pick up on. It helps me keep my own work fresh and playful and provides endless inspiration.
