2025 Recapped

This year was full of challenges and exciting opportunities. I wanted to take a moment to thank you for following and supporting my creative journey. Here are a few things I’ve learned and achieved this year.

🖼️ Think Big, Make Small

The biggest success for me, both creatively and commercially, was my mini flower-head collages.

These have helped me play with lots of ideas whilst keeping consistency in the collection. I made over 100 this year and only have a handful left. Expect more like these in 2026!

🎨 Expect More Canvases

Small paper pieces are the start of the process, and the ideas I love and want to develop will become canvases.

I don’t feel I made enough works on canvas this year, so this is a big focus for me in the new year. From small to extra large, expect to see colourful, textured canvas pieces.

🍸Stokey Was a Dream

It was only 3 months ago, but feels like a lifetime since my pop-up show in Stoke Newington. Part of the prize from a group show I took part in, it was incredible to see so much of my work in one space.

I definitely want to recreate this feeling next year.

🇬🇧 The Other Art Fair Continues

One of the best fairs in London for independent artists, it was a goal of mine for a long time to get here. I will be returning in March 2026 at the Truman Brewery.

With more minis and some new canvases of course!

☺️ Open Studios, Open Heart

I’ve been part of Wimbledon Art Studios for 6+ years and despite my turbulent living situation (Ukraine to Birmingham to London) I have always had this space to create.

We host open studios in May and November, always an amazing experience to meet people and share my work, plus there are 200+ other studios for you to explore.

🎄 Ending the Year on a High

The opportunity to create a piece for a charity auction was one I couldn’t turn down. Not only was it for a good cause (Crisis UK), but this project gave me a chance to create a new canvas - a creative premonition of things to come next year!

A massive thank you once again. I’m overjoyed that I can share my art with the world and that people want to support me in doing so. I’ll be making and exhibiting plenty in 2026, so expect more from me.

Wishing you a Happy New Year!

Thank you for following me on my art journey.
