First look at a few new artworks
I’m extremely lucky and grateful to have had several full weeks in the studio since the start of the year. I’ve been busy prepping for The Other Art Fair, where I’ll share a selection of new pieces.
Here are 3 new paper collages (plus a bonus one at the end of this post) that I'll be bringing to the fair next month.
First, a self-portrait. As the start of the year is a time of self-reflection, this composition emerged quite naturally and symbolises new growth and possibilities of positive change.
I have 9 new A3 paper collages. Each features hand-drawn, painted and some digitally printed designs, arranged and sewn in the studio.
I’ll also have some smaller, A5 originals, these are slightly more illustrational and minimal. These, like the rest of the collection, explore the complexity of human experience: where the familiar becomes fragmented and we are forced to confront uncertainty.
I’m currently putting the final touches to 3 (possibly 4 if there’s time!) mixed-media canvas pieces. Something tells me I’ll need every last minute of the next couple of weeks to finish these, so you may have to visit and see them in person…
I’ll have these new pieces at The Other Art Fair, London in March. I have a limited number of complimentary tickets, click here to grab some.
