Roy's Art Fair, Autumn 2023

It’s now a couple of days since I packed away my stand at Roy’s Art Fair and I’m still reeling from the experience. Art fairs are pretty full-on, standing, chatting and putting yourself out there for 5 - 8 hours a day over 4 days. The response to my art was once again wonderful and I am overjoyed, these events help boost my confidence and guide my next creations.

Each conversation either helps confirm that what I am trying to say with each piece is valid and on the right track or opens up new ideas and avenues to explore. The difference in feeling to my own work is so vast from looking at it in my studio, wondering if it’s finished or worth anything, to seeing it framed, on the wall, on location and sparking many excited interactions with people from all over.

Thanks again to everyone who stopped by, happy to meet new faces and catch up with old friends. I am very lucky to be able to do what I love and it’s a rollercoaster sometimes, but I’m really enjoying the ride!
