3 Things I Didn't Learn at Art School

I learned a lot at art school and plenty more since. Here are a couple of teachings from the real world.

1. Art is subjective, and there is a place in the world for all forms of art. I've seen all types of arts and crafts see major success in many different spaces, so make what you love and find the space that fits you, and you'll find your people.

2. There are many routes to making money from your art. Whether you want to pursue galleries and art fairs or go to markets or focus on social media. There are so many routes to building an income, so the best thing I found was try everything and see what works, then put more into the successes.

3. You don't have to stick to one style - I have constantly changed my art style and brought in new skills and practices to my creative process.
